Good morning. It’s just been announced that the videos for Strawberry Swing and Life In Technicolor ii have both been nominated for awards at the 2009 UK Music Video Awards. They’re up for the following:

Best Art Direction in a Video

Best Rock Video
Life In Technicolor ii
Strawberry Swing

Best Visual Effects in a Video
Life In Technicolor ii

The awards will be presented at the Odeon cinema in Leicester Square, London on October 13th. Wonder if the Coldplay-shaped puppets will be hiring suits…
