Coldplay win at Ivor Novello awards

Good afternoon. At today’s Ivor Novello awards in London, Viva La Vida won the award for Best Selling British Song. The Ivor Novellos honour "excellence in British music writing", so it’s a welcome addition to the band’s collective mantelpiece. The award was collected on behalf of Coldplay by their long-standing publisher and friend, Caroline Elleray. Click here for the full list of winners.
