Q.  Would you please share a download link to ALL the released handwritten lyrics sheets? I'm sure so many Coldplayers would love to have copies of them.

You must have missed that, Maedeh. Anchorman posted a news story back in May 2014 that led to a PDF of all the handwritten lyrics. Enjoy!

Q.  On the Ghost Stories Live 2014 DVD, are all the songs performed on the televised concert included, or just the Ghost Stories songs only?

If you scroll down the original news article that Anchorman posted on this site, you will see the full track listing.
It's not like the Live 2012 release, hence the specific name - Ghost Stories Live 2014.

Q.  Hey Oracle,
How many concerts did you attend while the band was touring for Ghost Stories ?

Love.

There weren't all that many shows on the GS tour but I was lucky enough to see 3 of the official tour dates (2 London and 1 Paris) plus the Radio 1's Big Weekend & the Radio 2 theatre show.
It's hard to believe it's just over a year since I watched their SXSW iTunes Festival show online in the middle of the night (UK time).

Q.  Mighty Oracle,
Why does the website say you can Ghost Stories on Google Play to celebrate it's third birthday when it's not even a year old?
Thanks

Google's Play's 3rd birthday, not Ghost Stories!

Q.  Hi Oracle! I just recently flew on an Air Canada flight and they were showing the Ghost Stories live concert which was awesome. I noticed however that the upcoming CD/DVD doesn't include non-Ghost Stories tracks such as Clocks, Viva and others that were shown in the concert on the flight.. Do you know if they'll be releasing a full concert version later on? Thanks for your time! Cheers! Gareth

No. The TV special that was aired may be a slightly different version but the DVD that's been released is the only one planned - without the non-Ghost Stories tracks.

Q.  What did Madeon help in producing Always in my Head ?

When Chris was interviewed back in April, he revealed that Madeon suggested / came up with the final sound we hear on the track.

Q.  What amp is it that Jonny is using on this Ghost Stories tour? It's different from his dual DeVilles.

Well spotted - we went a bit minimal on this run cos of the smaller venues. Jonny's onstage amp is a vintage Silvertone Twin Twelve but most of what you're hearing is a Kemper Amp Profiler, set to a custom patch. MMcG.

Q.  Will the new recording of the Ghost Story Live 2044 concert tournee also be available on vinyl or only on CD/DVD?

I'm loving the typo! 2044 is a long way into the future...
Ghost Stories Live 2014 is a live film / album release - as you know - but the album is only available on CD.

Q.  Hi, dear Oracle. Watching again and again the Ghost Stories TV Special I noticed that the custom built theatre looks very similar to one that that appears in the Michael Jackson video Hold My Hand, Is it the same?

I'm confused. Looking at the official video for Hold My Hand, I can't work out where you see the similarity. Michael's video was filmed in airship hangars (plus concert footage etc.) and Coldplay's was a purpose built amphitheatre in a soundstage. They're not the same albeit large vacuous spaces.

Q.  Hi Oracle!
I've noticed something a bit strange on the banner for Ghost Stories on iTunes - Chris' face seems to be blurred or at least not focused by the camera when the photo was taken. Is there a reason for this? Was it done on purpose for Guy, Jonny and Will to stand out?

I think they all look a little out of focus. It's just the way the photo turned out - probably because it was taken with little lighting. Incidentally, that photo was taken by Phil on his iPhone.
