Q. I have noticed that on every album, the band has a secret track except for Mylo Xyloto. Also, the other albums have a song that's significantly shorter than the others, but but on Mylo Xyloto, there are three shorter songs. Why is this so?

There is no rhyme or reason - songs are as long as they are. Album length is more important as the band don't like their LPs to be er, too long playing (which is what LP stands for).
A Rush of Blood to the Head didn't have any hidden tracks either.
