Q. Hi Oracle,

I was sitting in the West Stand at the show in Auckland, and after it finished a man turned around and chatted to me about what I thought of the show.

He was an older man with white hair and a posh English accent. He was wearing a red VIP badge and he looked strangely familiar. My question is... did I meet Chris Martin's dad??

The Oracle replies:

Well, I wouldn't have thought that he'd still be sitting there at the end unless the band weren't doing a runner that night.
Anyway, in one of Roadie #42's recent blogs there's a photo of his Dad playing cricket at the venue earlier in the day, so maybe you will be able to see from that if it was indeed Mr. Martin.
