Another fan, Anna Rose also wrote to me about this: "I've just won tickets to Global Festival in Sept. and I couldn't be more excited! But then I remembered Coldplay had tweeted, "We're proud to support @GlobalFestival in NYC this Sept w @FooFighters and @TheBlackKeys to end extreme poverty globalfestival.com. Does that mean the boys will be there or they just support the charity?"

I shall answer you both. The band aren't announced on the festival's website because they are not performing at the festival; they are supporting the cause.

The gig takes place at The Great Lawn in Central Park, NYC. The time should be on your ticket. Any other queries you should direct to Global via their contact address that you will find in the FAQ section at the very bottom of their website.
